Pulping Plant

Pulping plant moved to factory in Montague Gardens

The House of Juice has moved its 'fruit processing' plant, from a farm in the Picketburg mountains to the House of Juice factory in Montage Gardens.

The processing plant has the ability to turn 3,000 Kg of fruit, every hour, into puree. It can process guavas, peaches, plums, apricots, apples and pears, as well as various vegetables.

The pulping plant ensures that:

The House of Juice will be able to keep the price of juice stable.

It will also assist farmers in attaining better prices for their juice-fruit, as they have in the past, had to accept low prices for their fruit, often having to transport the fruit great distances.  Some farmers have fetched as little as 17c/kg, for their juice-fruit .

Another great advantage of this processing plant, is that the House of Juice will now be able to use more fresh-pressed product, as opposed to the traditional frozen puree’s to make their juices.

A limited quantity of product will be available for export.
